![]() I have no problems with the sound but if anybody can help me. ![]() In my opinion, I would say it's not about recognizing the headset as a Realtek but recognizing the Headset as another device, another headset. There is no doubt that this is a good headset made with experienced hands however I would say that the headset needs a driver or either that audio jacks to USB cable. Any headset that connects via 3.5mm is working in analog mode and has no device descriptor that could provide your PC with a product name, so what you end up seeing is the audio chip that it's plugged into, which in your case is the Realtek Audio. Plugging In the Headset would basically make two Audio inputs in the Realtek Mic device ( Two mics recognized as one) which causes a lot of noise, most probably static and also probably conflict with the software. To make clear, my PC has a built in mic which is the Realtek and I can't just disable the mic via Sounds tab or else I won't be able to use my mic. However, I can conclude that plugging the audio jacks into the audio ports of my PC will only recognize it as a part of the Realtek mic and speakers instead of recognizing it as a separate device which also might be a cause of the static and the difficulty of the mic not working. I troubleshooted what was going on and concluded that the product "HyperX Cloud Alpha" I have purchased has no defect at all.
