First, Spyro can Flame more rapidly in Reignited. ![]() If you're playing Reignited however they are a fair bit easier, for a few reasons. This will catch them in the air and hit them a second time, allowing for a swift victory. In actuality, the best way to defeat them is to Flame them, then quickly jump up and Flame again. The logical thing to do is use the bumpers to Roll out of the way, but this is often too slow to be effective. This racks up the damage and Spyro will be dead before sniffing Toasty’s bread. These guys suck because they’re one of the few enemies to have two hitpoints rather than just one, and as soon as they see you they’ll jump up into the air and squash Spyro flat with a belly flop, even when you wake them up with a Flame Attack. Next to the Shepherd will be one of the most annoying enemies in the PS1 version of the game, the Sleeping Dog.
